We're a team of dedicated puppy trainers who are passionate about giving the puppies enrolled in our university the BEST start in life. Our program utilizes positive association training with our puppies to ensure they see the world as a safe, happy place! Along with training our puppies - we are also ardent about training our puppies' owners, too! We believe that a well trained puppy with a well-trained owner make for unbeatable pair!
Our Story
Doodle U was originally formed as a part of our breeding program at JennaLee Designer Doodles. So many people we talked with were really interested in adopting a puppy, but were really nervous about the training part of the puppy adoption...and rightly so! Puppy Training isn't for the faint of heart, and requires a lot of time, energy, patience, and knowledge to train your puppy into the rockstar dog you know they can be.
We believe firmly that dogs can change people's lives in such an immeasurable way, and so many people's barrier was the training piece of the puzzle. We want everyone to be able to enjoy the life they dream of with their dog, so in 2016, we decided to use our years of knowledge and trained our very first puppy for a client who didn't have lacked the knowledge to train her puppy herself.

Since the day that Sadie went home, the requests we've gotten for trained puppies as multiplied. In 2017, we brought in a full time trainer to help answer the requests that continued to flow in for trained puppies. Gradually, we built a training program that was designed to train puppies from the time they are ready to leave their litters. The need continued to grow, and so we continued to answer it. So many people had very specific needs and wants for their lives with their puppies, and so we built in some ways to customize the puppies' training to be able to answer those needs.

As our program continued to expand, we decided it made the most sense to break the training portion of our JennaLee Doodles off into it's own business so that we could answer the needs of our clients even more effectively! We are thrilled to now have even more infrasturcture and tools to help clients find success with their puppies here at Doodle U!
PS - Fun Fact: We coined the nickname "Doodle U" back in 2017 when we used to joke with some of our first high school aged employees when they said they were going off to college and we didn't want them to - we offered them a 'full ride' to "Doodle U" so they wouldn't leave our puppy raising team! When we started our training company it was the perfect opportunity to bring "Doodle U "into reality! Ha!
